A webdesigner’s task it not only to throw together a website, it is much more. My mission is to be there every step of the way from the selection of the company’s identity / image colors, through creating the logo, right up to establishing a complete and functional website.

Company identity/image

Let’ start at the beginning! Your company’s identity is vital as it is the first impression your customer gets. The image I create for you provides a unique look, it reflects the company as a whole and differentiates you on the market.
Included in this package: establishment of the color palette, selection of the fonts, and creation of the logo.

Graphic design

Once your identity is ready, we can take another step forward. A company needs printed materials such as business cards, flyers, letterheads, posters, etc. I can design these for you and have them print-ready.

Logo and company identity

How will you be able to catch your customers’ attention? How will they remember you? You have to have an image / identity that is:

       unique

             strong / attention seeking / thought provoking

                      well designed

                                 appropriately positioned on the market 

In the spotlight of the identity is of course the LOGO as everyone sees that first!

How will your logo be created?

If you choose me to design your logo, we will first have to discuss a few things:

  • What type of logo do you want: modern, simple, fun, formal, with or without text, text and image intertwined or separate, etc.
  • Color or black and white logo? If you want it in color we need to set up a color palette.
  • Will you need it in more sizes for use on different surfaces?
  • How many versions of the logo will you need? Ex. logo / pictogram only, logo with text, logo with initials, etc.

The final logo will be provided to you in the following formats: Photoshop Illustrator format (.ai), JPG, PDF and also EPS format if needed. For better way to illustrate the uses of the logo I will provide you with some mock up images for free.

Graphic design

Graphic design is most likely the heart of everything. Once the logo has served its purpose to get a customer’s attention, every material surrounding it must strive to keep this attention.

Materials which serve this mentioned purpose and which if needed I can make print-ready for you are:

  • business card
  • flyer
  • poster
  • letterhead; header and footer templates
  • vouchers, coupons, gift cards, stamp collector cards, etc.

If you have no company, but you are in need of some graphic design, no problem, you are in the right place!

Process of graphic design:

  • In case of companies I will need your logo (in vector format) and preferably the full company identity plan, so I can use the appropriate colors and fonts.
  • Furthermore in order to be able to create the best design, I would like to be introduced to your expectations, the target audience, the purpose of the print material, etc.
  • The completed design I will illustrate for you using mock ups.
  • The materials will be handed over in the appropriate formats.

Website creation; Webdesign

Online presence today is mandatory for all companies.
What does an excellent webpage need?

  • needs to be transparent; customers should be able to easily fond what they are looking for without an extensive search.
  • good layout, logical build-up; after the customer find the object of their search they should be able to take the next step: contact, buy, etc. Their attention must be directed towards this next action.
  • user friendly; clear buttons, menus, everyone should be able to navigate the site.
  • stylish; eye-catching yet using colors and layouts which are pleasing to the eye, using target market appropriate designs, to keep the interest of the customers.
  • responsive! the website should appear perfectly on all screen types from mobile phones to tablets all the way to large screens.

How I create websites:

  • As in the case of graphic design for companies I will need access to the logo and identity details (color palette and fonts) to be able to make a website plan.
    • For companies with existing websites, I will need access to the website admin details,
    • If a brand new website is requested I will need the above mentioned details.
  • I will create the website using WordPress. This is a very user friendly website builder with a very easy to use admin interface. Amendments will be easy to make after I hand the site over.
  • If I do not yet know your company I hereby would like to get to know you better so I can create we website in accordance with your target audience.
  • The first step in planning is making a visual website plan. We will discuss this initial plan, make changes if necessary and I will use that to start the live website creation.  
  • Next step is to provide me with all the materials needed for the website: texts and images.
  • Now I will create the website!
  • Once the website is ready and it meets all your expectations, we will make it live. I will hand over all the details, login info, to the admin interface and some instructions for its use.

I made this sample page so you can try out the various website layouts, see the possibilities offered by both websites created using templates and builder programs. The first two menu points illustrate a multi-page website using a template and a builder program. The contents are the same on both of these websites, hence you can see the difference between the two layout approaches. The contents of all the examples are there to inspire you, give you ideas about what you want on your own website. I also created a third menu which lists all the one-page examples I have created so far. I try to represent a wide variety of possibilities, design options, appearances; modern, elegant, dynamic, etc.

Websites using template layouts are faster and easier to create.
Characteristics:
– the structure is given,
– single and multi-page websites are both possible,
– you can make it more interesting using colors, fonts, etc.
– plugins are compatible with template based websites too,
– easy to create and easy to maintain by the user,
– This website is based on a template.

Elementor or Divi builder programs offer more options such as dynamic actions, movements on a page, eye-catching layouts, etc.
Characteristics:
– structure is determined by you,
– single and multi-page websites are both possible,
– exciting, dynamic, eye-catching solutions for images, text, etc.
– many add-on / plugins are available which make the website more interactive.
– If you need a really out there, extra creative, eye-catching, memorable website this is probably the way to go.
