I joined the world of western competitions 10 years ago and since then mostly took part as an active competitor. Following the show fashions through these years I have noticed that there is a growing need, first of all in my country Hungary, to live up to the American competition’s fashion levels. Primarily performance class competitors are the ones who require very eye catching, sparkling, shiny clothing as they are evaluated by judges on appearance heavily. Nevertheless other class competitors also have shown a growing interest in classy, fashionable, yet comfortable outfits. I personally have both store-bought and personalized show shirts and the new approach what I offer you here today is a culmination of my experience and a rider’s needs.

The first step that led me down this creative path was that I wanted a special custom design on my shirt. I saw too many store-bought shirts of the same pattern in the arena (including mine) and I wanted to stand out, but the really beautiful show shirts were outside my budget. So I dreamt up a design and made it reality. The outcome was so perfect; a light and breathable material that withstands everything, a pattern that does not fade or peal off that I know I had to share this with others too!

How is this technique / approach different?
–> the material is a light bathing suit material (polyester), which makes it breathable so you do not get sticky, sweaty and boil in it in the summer heat.
–> your arms are absolutely free as if there was nothing on you, even if it is full of shiny rhinestones.
–> the design is printed using sublimation technology, so there is no extra weight on the material from the design and you don’t have to care about the evenness of the seams as there are none. What you dream up on the comuter screen will be delivered fully onto the material. *
–> the shiny rhinestones that I use to make your shirt extra special has been tested and I am sure they will not fall off even if you stretch the shirt (reasonable of course), wash the material, or take the shirt off over year head!

Sublimation technology in a few words:
– it is basically transfer of a color (design) to a material (best is polyester) using heat
– the design will be durable as through the heat the color will become one with the material;
–> will not fade through washing
–> the material remains soft as the print will not harden the fabric
–> the design will not peal or come off

Process of creation:

  • Come up with a design! If you have a concrete idea, draw it and I will digitalize it and make it reality! You can find blank shirt templates below. If you don’t have an image of your own, then let’s talk about your ideas and I will draw up graphic design plans for you.
  • In order to make the shirt exactly your size, I work together with a seamstress who sews the shirt according to your measurements. If you are not located in our area, no problem! You can make the measurements and home and send them to me.
  • Once the design is ready on my side I send it to my seamstress who makes the printing and sewing happen.
  • When the shirt is ready I take the shirt and embellish it with a heap of rhinestones to make sure you stand out!
  • All types of show apparel are possible: shirts, vests and bolero vests.
